Matty G
Dan is excellent at what he does. He takes the time to sit down and really listen to me so he understands what is going on. He then tailors the treatments to address the problems. He has helped me greatly to deal with stress, anxiety, back problems and digestion issues. I always feel great after my appointments.

Daniel Fonte M.A.O.M, Lic Ac
Daniel Fonte, Lac has learned that acupuncture is the way to healing. He sees it as a modality that bridges the relationship of the human body to the nature that surrounds us, helping the body in its quest for wholeness and health. When bodies fall out of a healthy position, Daniel looks for the balance that is uniquely correct for that person and guides it back to position. A former asthmatic now in thriving health, Daniel knows firsthand how the body can heal itself with the support of acupuncture. Daniel holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine with focus in both Chinese and Japanese style acupuncture from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) in Berkeley, CA. He is also certified in Mei Zen facial acupuncture. Daniel's training includes practicing at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in the mental health and outpatient clinic, a clinical rotation at AIMC Berkeley in private and community acupuncture, and several years interning at Spring Wind Dispensary, a Chinese Herb Pharmacy. He treats all ages and specializes in cosmetic and facial rejuvenation, asthma and respiratory disorders. Additionally, as a general practitioner, Daniel treats other aspects of health including hormonal, orthopedic, digestive and overall well-being. He performs cold laser treatments, is board certified and licensed to practice medical acupuncture in the state of MA. Daniel lives in the south shore of Boston and when not practicing acupuncture, can be found tinkering with things, cycling, sailing or hanging with friends and family.
Laser Therapy
Brian Whidden uses cold laser therapy or low level laser therapy(LLT) in conjunction with acupuncture treatment. LLT is safe and painless. It is a rehabilitative laser which uses very low power: 400-500 milliwatts. Laser therapy can increase the effectiveness of traditional acupuncture because of its strong anti-inflammatory effect. It is especially good for any type of chronic/acute inflammatory pain condition such as tendonitis, back disc problems, arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
This combination treatment has allowed clients to achieve better results in a shorter period of time.
Brian is a member of the North American Association for Laser Therapy (NAALT) and World's Association for American Laser Therapy (WALT). He has lectured at Tufts University and for NAALT and currently conducts laser training seminars for health care professionals.
